What We Can Do
We understand that each project can be unique and personal. A standard approach, a standard service or placing a project into a Project Management or Commercial Management box isn’t always right. That is why we act as Construction Advisors, taking various aspects of core services or elements of specialism that can be blended to provide the right advice and guidance for your particular project or venture.
- Programme Management
- Risk Management

Ian Mooney Ian is one of the new Partners and owners of the business. Ian has worked with some of the UK’s largest social housing providers.

Scott Moore Scott is the newest recruit to Baker Ruff Hannon but someone that we have known since he came into the industry. Scott is MRICS and has spent the last 7 years as a commercial manager on some complex projects including leisure, care and civic projects. Scott has expertise in Passive House projects and is responsible for our cost database and benchmarking expertise.
Phill Baker Phill has been in the industry for over 50 years and is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Phill founded the practice and still helps to keep us on the straight and narrow. He is an expert in pre-contract services and has second to none experience in social housing projects.
John Hannon John has spent 40 years as a quantity surveyor, project manager and Health & Safety practitioner. This has given John the background and experience required to undertake Expert Witness services and to provide initial guidance on the legal processes in construction and how to avoid the pitfalls of them. John has a wealth of experience and knowledge in health and care projects as well as civic undertakings.
Jim Jenkins Jim has been in the industry for over 50 years. He has been a Clerk of Works for over 30 years. The highest accolade that we can pay to Jim is that we often receive complaints from contractors that he is too tough on them only for them to put forward his projects for awards. Jim trains the new starters for one of our Clients to show them what they should be looking for in site inspections.
